Features Howard Hanson's Three Etudes, Op. 18, and a first performance in over a century of Hanson's "Prelude and Ballet" from "The California Forest Play of 1920," Op. 16 - arranged for solo piano by Hanson in 1920, and last performed by him in 1921.

Program: Andante favori in F major, Piano Sonata No. 5 in C minor, "Fur Elise," Piano Sonata No. 27 in E minor, Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor "Moonlight." This concert is being offered "by invitation only" so please send your invitation request to swatkin@ju.edu to be added to the guest list. Seating is limited for this event, held in the acoustically beautiful Terry Concert Hall. "The Romantic Beethoven" is presented on the composer's 250th birthday (December 16, 1770).
